• When applying silicone oil products to dashboard tops spray onto a cloth and use the cloth to apply. This avoids getting silicone on the windscreen.
• Never leave aerosols in a car interior or boot. They may get punctured from rolling around and the temperature can easily exceed the recommended storage temperature.
• Always wash a car from the roof down. Clean one section at a time then wash off. This helps avoid streaking.
• When using a cleaning product or paint always spot test first in a hidden area to check for compatibility.
• When using an engine degreaser allow the product five minutes to penetrate the grime before washing off. Never allow to dry as this may cause streaking.
• Wheel cleaners are designed to loosen brake dust and grime from the wheels. A hard brush may be needed on really stubborn grime. After cleaning and rinsing, allow to dry, then use Tyre Shine to give the tyres a new look shine.
